Terms of service
Updated: 22 October 2026
How an order works, from your first message to the handover of your site. Your signed quote details and completes these terms.
Quote
Every project starts with a free quote, in Pacific francs (XPF) or euros (EUR), after our first conversation. It describes the site, the number of revision rounds, the launch date and the price. The order is confirmed by written acceptance of the quote and payment of the deposit.
Payment
A 50% deposit is paid at the start, the balance on delivery. Changes requested after delivery are billed according to the work they take, on a prior quote.
Timeline
There is no fixed timeline: it depends on your site and is written in your quote. It starts once the deposit and the needed content (text, photos, logo, access) are received. Late content or approvals push the launch back by the same amount.
What you provide
You provide the text, images and information to publish and confirm you have the right to use them. You remain responsible for the content published on your site.
Revisions before delivery
The number of revision rounds included depends on the package (1 for Essential, 2 for Complete, 3 for Custom) and is written in the quote. A round groups your feedback in one go.
Delivery and ownership
Once the balance is paid, you receive your complete site as a zip file and training to put it online yourself on Netlify. The site belongs to you: you can keep it, change it or hand it to someone else. Open-source building blocks used (typefaces, libraries) stay under their own licence.
Hosting and domain name
Hosting and the domain name are in your name and at your expense. No subscription is paid to Rai Web Design.
Support
Support is included after launch: 30 days with Essential, 60 days with Complete, and a length agreed together for Custom.
Portfolio
Rai Web Design may show the finished site in its portfolio. Just ask if you would rather it did not.
Liability
Rai Web Design commits to delivering a site that matches the quote and to fixing any defect reported during the support period. Its liability does not cover content supplied by the client, nor outages or changes in third-party services (host, domain name, outside tools).
Disputes
If we disagree, we first look for an amicable solution. Failing that, the law applicable in French Polynesia applies and the courts of Papeete have jurisdiction.
